*Classroom rule book sessions, field drills, and evaluations.
*Mechanics and positioning of plate and base umpires in a two-Umpire system, from beginning to advanced.
*Expert instruction in working the plate, covering stances, tracing the pitch, proper timing, and developing a consistent strike zone.
*Handling situations - diffusing coaches yelling from the dugout and face-to-face on the field. Instruction also covers arguing balls and strikes, effectively issuing warnings, and writing reports
